June Spotlight is SG Art Studio

This month we're going to get to know Sunny Galiviz of SG Art Studio.  She is one or our newest members so let give her a warm welcome.  She is located in Tacoma, Washington.

Infused Designs- How did you come up with the name for your store?
Sunny Galaviz = SG is my name initial

ID- How long have you been crafting, and who taught you?

SG- I've been painting and crafting since I was in high school. In Korea, I painted water color and carved dry squash.

ID- Do you have any formal training in any craft/art subject?

SG- Yes, I took some courses in water color in Korea and took art courses in local a Community College for my nursing major.

ID- When did you open your Etsy store?

SG- May 14th, 2012-

ID- So you are very new to Etsy.  Welcome aboard. Do you have other venues you sell at, like craft shows or other online stores?

SG- Not at this time.

ID- What is one of your favorite items in your store?

SG- My favorite items are some jewelry, wood work, abstract painting, and some clothing.

ID- Where do you gain inspiration for your items?

SG- Sometime it comes from my imagination, my past, my present, or where the place I've been and see something that is intriguing to me.

ID- Do you feel like you have found a niche for the items you sell?

SG- No not yet. I love to paint though...and I want to combine my paint with something. I don't know yet.

ID- Where do you see your shop in 5 years?
SG -revenue of 30.000 year.

ID- That's ambitious, but a great goal! I wish you luck! What advice can you give your fellow team members?

SG- Depends on what kind of advice. I am new to Etsy and I need advice myself!
Only thing that i can give to the team is that, "Keep pursuing what you love to do and you will never have to work again in your life".

Thank you, Sunny.  It's always great to get to know new members of our team and of Etsy.

Team members, please visit her store at: SG Art Studio and don't forget to favorite and add her to your circle. :-)  Thank you!
